Thank you very much for your informative replies.
We have a flowchart for Inventory with an ISO number of 7.5.5 (FC 7.5.5 - Inventory). If I had a flowchart for packaging and shipping, would "FC 7.5.5-2 Packaging and Shipping" be acceptable? Thanks again.

If you're referring to "FC 7.5.5-2" as a control number, check your document control procedures to see if your company has already prescribed a numbering system for your documentation.
Even though Stijloor is right in saying that there is no such requirement to link your control #'s to any ISO clause, nowadays this practice is generally frowned upon as more and more people realize the added work that takes place when the standard's paragraphs or requirements change (albeit not that often), but in a company that already has lots of documentation, one time is all it takes for them to realize that they "put their hand a little too close to the stove".
Also remember that control numbers aren't even required to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001. Usually the method of identifying documents that provides smooth organization, is simple yet effective, and is resistant to unnecessary revision, is the most optimal in my book.
