How to Implement ISO 9001 in a School for Talented Pupils

Greetings everybody

I am a student in industrial engineering department

and my graduation project is to implement ISO on a specific school for the talented pupils

and in fact I am totally confused, I did not know much about ISO before, therefore I started collecting some info from the net

but I am still confused,I want to know how to start

so please if any expert would tell me how to start, and porvide me with some info, I will be totally gratefull

Welcome to the Cove! You have an interesting situation, can you give our readers some more details?

One of the things we'll talk about is "gap analysis"

Another thing we'll talk about is a clear definition of the product or service you think you provide and how your customers (who also need to be defined) determine their requirements and whether your offering meets their requirements.

I'm also curious about the credentials and knowledge of the faculty advisor who will oversee your project - do we need to educate him/her, too?

Hi, and welcome.

Wes is right about the gap analyis. I predict that it will reveal that you are already doing a LOT of the things that appear in the standard. They may be called something else, but they will be there. A gap analysis will reveal the gap between where you are now and what you will need to do to bring the Quality Management System (QMS) into compliance with the standard. So, can you give us some more details, please, as Wes has suggested?
