Please Help! Reporting Composite FCF on Layout (GD&T)

Hello everyone. I need some assistance with a GD&T callout (see attached). I have a composite FCF, but I need some guidance on how to report this on the layout. When I balloon the print, do I use 2 separate numbers or do I just have one number, using the second line as the control for the top line? The print references ASME Y14.5-2009, so that is my guide for interpretation, just not sure how to report this to the customer.

Can someone please help?

Thank you in advance!

M

Re: Reporting Composite FCF on Layout (GD&T)

I have seen and done it both ways. The use of 2 seperate ballon numbers is probably preferable and should eliminate any confusion when referencing it.

Their isn't much in the way of standards for ballooning drawings that i am aware of, i know GE has their methods, probably some others as well.

Re: Reporting Composite FCF on Layout (GD&T)

I agree with James. I always itemize each FCF and report them separately.
