Is there any Government Grant for CE marking? (India)

Dear All,

We at Mumbai(India) manufacturing an Electromagnetic Clutch and Brakes,now some of our export customer wants CE certification for product that they purchase.
So please guide us is that any grant is possible for CE certification from Govt,because we have an Small Scale Industries.

This is a local issue which many of us in foreign countries can't help.

But there is one sure method to get an answer if you are prepared to do some ground work. Look up in the yellow pages/trade magazines or directories for local establishments or local branches of international establishments that provide CE certification service. They have all the info you want.

Otherwise, check with the relevant ministry in-charge of these issues. Over here we check with the ministry of trade and industries or trade association.
