ISO 9001:2008 Internal Audit – Strategic Department

Dear all,
What we have to consider during the internal audit of the strategic department.
Which clause is related to the strategic department?
Is there any specific questions to be asked?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi Salman.
What does your strategic department do ?
How do they interact with other processes (call departments for your convenience)
I have a guess that they are more concerned with activities under clause 7.1 and 7.2, and interact with activities under clause 7.4 and 7.5.
Now you help us to help you more ...

Needed more info as the other expert Cover said.
Is strategic department related to management responbilities or what else?
However, as per process approach audit, planning is related to all QMS processes. This is a consideration of mine.:bigwave:

Doing an internal audit of any process in an organization doesn't have to be tied to an ISO requirement. There may be good reasons why management want to know if the "strategic" department's process(es) are both implemented and effective. Your questions should be related to this, not what we tell you, really.

BSC is a tool like all other tools to manage objective and goals for an organization.
Probably you should audit the process related to managemetn responsibility ( inncluding mgmt review). This is a suggestion of mine. In that context you could assess how the management take decisions, set goals and quality objective atc...etc.., based upon the share method of BSC.:bigwave:
