What kind of parts (material / industry) are you stamping? What are your customer's requirements for CF creation and approval process.
The time I spent with a Japanese automotive metal stamping company for smaller (but intricate) components, I was not aware of a global or industry-wide standard on creation of checking fixtures. However, each customer had a very specific set of requirements and documents for the development, creation and validation of checking fixtures.
