Hi all,

The specification for the electrical resistance of a certain electric components is 650 ± 30 ohms. The purchaser has contracted for an AQL=2.5%.
Variable sampling plan inspection level ii normal inspection S-method is to be used for inspection. The components are to be delivered in lots of 100 items each.

(i)Select the sampling plan.
(ii) The following values of sample resistance have been obtained.
643, 651, 619, 627, 658, 670, 673, 641, 638, 650

Re: AQL- Sampling plan

With N=100, AQL=2.5%, Level II normal, the sample size is 20 ea using ANSI Z1.4, Acc=1, Rej=2

I am only seeing 10 samples in your comment, not 20, so you have not taken enough samples yet, thus you cannot yet determine if the lot can be accepted or not. If you continue sampling to complete n=20, and you find only one defect in the sample you can accept the 100 ea lot, but need to remove the one piece non conforming. If you find 2 or more defects you need to reject the lot.
