Process Documentation Tools - A study about process description

Hi,

I am working at my university in a study about process description. I am specially interested in experiences using tools different than Word, flowcharting, etc... I would like to know if anyone has experience using Enterprise Architecture tools for quality management systems, such as aris, enterprise architect, adonis, etc... I would also like to know if anybody has experience with ontology oriented tools such as protege or metocube.

I'm used to using 4TQ. I do not work for the parent company in any capacity, simply stating that the product fulfilled the business need for process orientated documentation control. this is the site.
