We have a customer that prferes suppliers to have IECQ HSPM QC 080000 certification. I had not heard of this until reviewing their Supplier Quality Manual. There is not much found from a google search and it appears to be TUV driven. Any thoughts?

:thanks:

Its not TUV driven but by INTERNATIONAL ELECTROTECHNICAL COMMISSION QUALITY ASSESSMENT SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS (IECQ)

http://www.iecq.org/about/hspm-scheme/

IECQ QC 080000 addresses Regulatory Requirements, eg RoHS, WEEE, BAD, PKG, ELV, EuP, REACH, EPEAT, China RoHS etc. while the ISO 14001 addresses the Environmental Management system.

Refer to the preview of the IECQ HSPM QC 080000 here - http://webstore.iec.ch/preview/info_iecq-qc080000{ed3.0}en.pdf
