Please Help! CATERPILLAR BGPP (Benchmarking Guide for Painting Process) Questionnaire

Hello all. I am wondering if anyone has a copy of or any information about Caterpillar's BGPP (Benchmarking Guide for Painting Process) questionnaire. I have started at a new company this week, and we already may have a paint issue brewing.....

Thank you!

Re: CATERPILLAR BGPP (Benchmarking Guide for Painting Process) Questionnaire

To elaborate a bit: in February, CAT revised their paint specifications and added a section regarding painter qualification requirements and very specific test panels. It does not appear that my new company has gone through this process yet (we are not a painter, but a component manufacturer.) I am wondering if anyone knows if the questionnaire itself is what is required, or if an on-site audit by CAT folks is actually required at every paint supplier. By reading the specification, it seems that it could go either way. Regardless, I would like to audit our supplier with the CAT questionnaire beforehand, hence my request.

Thank you to anyone that may be able to help!!

Re: CATERPILLAR BGPP (Benchmarking Guide for Painting Process) Questionnaire

Hopefully someone who interfaces with Caterpillar will be able to help with this one. If not right now, since it's a holiday weekend in the US, it may be a good idea to "Bump" this thread in a few days. I know this is an "old" thread, but surely there is someone here who can help.
