Re: Paying For CoC - Should we charge Customers for a Certificate of Conformity?

Very seldom. I now am downloading everything into a new program so I won't have to do a physical search for documentation. I may drop the fee as of the date we start using this.

Re: Paying For CoC - Should we charge Customers for a Certificate of Conformity?

Certificate of Conformity - No Fee
Essential data in regards to part#, Customer PO#, specification, serial#, etc and a statement of compliance.

Certificate of Conformity - Detailed - Fee
As before plus processing parameters (temperature, time), equipement ID, detail of performed tests.

Also, any changes in CoC after the CoC was released (sent to customer) - Fee

How badly do you want/need them as a customer? How badly do they want/need you as a supplier?

It's purely a commercial question.
I agree with this, at a previous job we resourced some business based on an added fee for C of C. It just depends what their business is worth to you and how much the C of C will really cost you.
