Is IAQG planning an update of AS9102? Revision B of AS9102?

Is IAQG planning an update of AS9102? One of my quality engineers was searching the web for AS9102 forms and he came across the attached document on SAE's website (www.sae.org/iaqg/publications/as9102forms.doc). He is hoping that this is just a prototype of a previous revision since it contains new fields like Justification for < 100% Evaluation).

We also found a company's PDF presentation that mentioned "rumors of a Revision B".

Thanks again for your help and rumor control.

Yes, AS9102 is undergoing a revision by the IAQG and the forms will be available via this link from the IAQG website, which will also make the 9101 related forms available online.

The future version of the AS9102 should go through ballot in a couple of months. If all the 3 sectors of the IAQG approve the revision of the document, in approximately 6 months, we should have a new version of 9102.

The SCMH material will also be revised to reflect the new FAI requirements.

The 9100 series will be revised but the form may or may not be revised. The form you attached had Honeywell as author...go to http://www.sae.org/aaqg/publications/as9102a-faq.htm for proper forms.

If you log into the OASIS site https://www.sae.org/?PORTAL_CODE=IAQG you can find a FAI tutorial in Supply Chain Management Guidelines see http://www.sae.org/iaqg/handbook/scmhtermsofuse.htm

You are probably responding to the original post. As I said in my previous post, the IAQG is making forms available for download and usage via their own website. The link on that post takes you to a web page that you can access to download a number of forms, including the new editable PDF 9102 forms.
