Does anyone know why the TC 176 website has been hijacked by CSA?

In the past, the TC 176 had the www.tc176.org website. Now, it looks like they post their information at http://isotc.iso.org/livelink/livelink/open/tc176.

I don't understand why the www.tc176.org website now redirects to the CSA community website, instead of of the ISO one.

Does anyone know why this is? Is the CSA trying to drive traffic to their site?

Usually one of two things:

1 - CSA originally owned the domain (they could have been providing hosting to TC 176), and when TC 176 transferred to Livelink, they simply removed the website content and redirected.

2 - They bought the domain after the expiration.
