Automated calibration of Digital Multimeter without communication port

Hi guys,

I'd like to know if someone here can give me some feedback about this topic.

I would like to know if anyone knows if there is any system that uses a camera to capture the digital multimeter reading and save that into a file at same time the system uses a calibrator like 5500A to calibrate the multimeter within the specified points?

My first question would be "Why?"

Your title suggests that you want to automate your calibration, and you state these meters do not have a communications port. Even if there was software that could capture and record the meter reading you still are going to have to manually choose the meter settings, so an operator will be involved.

Why don't you choose to have someone manually enter the results?
