Quality training for new starters ( relevant parts)
The xxx quality system is based on the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management Systems.
This standard was chosen due to its suitability as a framework for development, implementation, management and on-going improvement of processes that transform customer inputs into customer deliverables.
We view quality as being; the degree to which our services fulfil the customers requirements having regard for the integrity of our scientific research, legislative requirements and the needs of other key stakeholders.

We have a Quality System Because
  • We want to provide staff with processes to work with that are efficient and effective and which enable them to achieve company objectives and job satisfaction.
  • To gain greater control over our business processes particularly our project management and delivery processes which earn all of our incomes.
  • To demonstrate to current and potential clients that our project management and delivery processes are controlled and meet the requirements of ISO 9001.
Our Quality System is still developing.
Our quality system consists of a quality policy, a quality manual and procedures and records required by ISO 9001. It also consists of project related procedures and documents you will use on a day-to-day basis.

Your role in the quality system is to:
  • Apply the requirements of our business management systems to the work you do.
  • Ensure the documents you use are the latest revision. This can be determined by checking the date and revision status on the bottom of the document and comparing that with the index found (TBA)
  • Carry out your work using the processes that have been developed for the work you do.
  • Identify and report opportunities for improvement to processes of which you are part.
  • Capture and report customer feedback you receive.
  • Identify and rectify to the extent of your job role authority limitations, actual or potential non-conformances in delivery processes and in deliverables.
  • Carry out and report on activities which verify that actions taken to rectify non-conformances are effective or otherwise.

Thanks,

If you are an ISO certified company, you may also want to include in your PPT presentation what is ISO series, show some certifying body/agency logos and discuss which is your organizations' CB, and your Company Quality Policy and give summary of your Quality Policy which put emphasis on the core ideas. Depending on the level of the new staff, you may consider adding topics about benefits of being an ISO certified company, and three(3) types of audit.
