1kg Dry Ice(Compressed CO2) = what CO2E/MetricTon

Omeil

Hi All,

Was not sure where to post this but since it's environmental related :) here it is.

I have googled and googled but never seemed to find the answer, also contacted our supplier but they're response to my question : What does 1kg of Dry Ice equal in CO2E was "Hmm thats a good question, but sorry we can't help you" :lmao:. Everyone's input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Omeil:nopity:

CO2e means carbon dioxide equivalent, and describes for a given Greenhouse Gas, the amount of CO2 that would have the same global warming potential. (from Wikipedia)

So one ton of CO2 = one ton of CO2e

Dry ice is CO2 in solid form. From conservation of mass, its weight does not change through its phase change.

C'mon, you know that a Ton of solid stuff weighs more than a Ton of gas:lol:
