Question Quality Manager Publications Suggestions for TS 16949 Automotive Supplier

Hi Folks, new to a quality manager position and I need to subscribe to a couple of magizines for info., on ISO/TS16949 certification (automotive supplier). What are the "bibles" as they say, prioritize #1 and #2 if possible. Thanks.

Welcome to the Cove Insights.

I would suggest you look at:

Quality Digest - www.qualitydigest.com

Quality Progress - www.asq.org
This one comes with a membership in the American Society for Quality which I highly recommend you join and participate in.

Dave

Hi !

I wouldn't disagree with Qual Progress and Qual Digest, but I would put
the ASQ Automotive Division newsletter as an A priority.

If you are an ASQ member (you should be!) then add a membership
to the Automotive Division for their newsletter.

Also consider AIAG's magazine Action Line. It will have the TS16949
dope although it will also include materials management stuff that may
be non value added for you. AIAG is an organization of companies,
not people, so you need to have your company join.

Best of luck,

Brad
