What Quality Level would a customer tolerate.....1000dpku?
What quality level would a customer tolerate.....1000dpku? 100dpku? or zero defect?

I think most customers would be happy with zero defects.

The TS16949 Customer specifics require the supplier indicate zero defects in their control and inspection plans. The TS specification and ISO 9001:2000 do not.

Yes, but the poster who started the thread didn't mention TS 16949 or any specific customer.
BTW - Can someone tell me what 'dpku' is? Defects Per ... ??

I'm not sure either, but I was guessing dpku = defects per kilo-units or defects per thousand.
