Faro Laser Tracker Alignment - Study of a building machine alignment process
Hello,
I'm a ingeneer student from Goodyear of Luxembour and I make my end study work in this company.
So I work on this subjet : "study of a building machine alignment process", however the alignment process have already been choose by Goodyear, and will be a Faro Laser Tracker from Faro industry. My work consist to make the works instructions, proved that goodyear have choosed the best instrument for the machines that they will measured and understand how the alignment machine work.
That's why I need informations about the fonctionnement of the Laser Tracker (ADM system, ...) and the other methods which we can aligned (drum concentricity, horizontality, ...) in the aim of compare the differents alignment system (- Arms;Laser Tracker, Numeric photogrammetrie system, Industrial Tacheometres, Laser scanners). I saw a lot of internet site but they are not extensilevy technical informations and they never compare the different instruments so therefore somebody can help me in my research, I will be hapy.
Gratefully.

Well, folks, I just wanted to "bump" this thread to see if we have anyone familiar with this instrument. Come on, now, don't be bashful...

And, by the way, Francois, welcome to the Cove. Surely we have someone here who can help.

Well, I am impatient that someone help me in the research of any informations about the Faro Laser Tracker but also the others systems of measurement. By this I'll be able to compare those differents machines, and maybe justify the chooce in order to by the Faro.
Faithfully,

Thanks and ADM system ?
Hello,
Well, thanks Surendro for your Faro link. And I remain very interested to receive any documents which compare the different alignment machines. In addition, if someone have an article on how the ADM (Absolute Dimension Measure) works, because, as you probebly know, Laser Tracker doesn't fonctionne with an interferometre but with a ADM system. So, I'll be very glad to receive informations from your part.
Regards.
Francois.
