Default Internal audits indicators - turtles

With indicators they normally mean KPI's ( Key Performance Indicators )

These indicators should " indicate " how well the process is performing.
Indicators for process of internal audits could be:
- Costs of internal audits
- Adherence to the planning
- Number of NC's found
- Reaction (time) on NC's
- .........

Several turtles can be found in the attachment list of the forums.
Anyway I have included another example.

Best regards and success,
Antoine

Default Turtle diagrams

I have found an R&D turtle - None on QA.

I hope this gives you a clue how to set up your own turtles.

Best regards,

Antoine

Please Help! Re: Process Analysis - What do process indicators mean in the turtle diagrams?

I had been reading some of the process turtles on the site and I got confused.
For me, the process metrics ( “what key criteria” leg ) are related to achieve the intended output of the process , not to the effect of having the process in the system or in a parent process.
I see some turtles where these two ways of seeing the metrics for the process are mixed by measuring the process effectiveness by the effect on a parent process.

Please read the following --non manufacturing related—example:
A men goes to the Doctor because a pain in his chest, then the Doctor decide to apply a shot to eliminate the pain.
Here I see two processes going on:
The first one and more important (parent process) is to cure the chest pain.
The second one is to apply the shot which is a sub process of the first one and has its very own parameters to control.
The metric for the first one is to confirm that the pain disappear
The metric for the second one is to confirm that the shot was applied correctly, independently of the effect of eliminating the pain.

What do you think? Please be easy on me, my English is not as good as it should be.

Thanks to all in advance
