ASQ's refreshed website - 5 July 2005
ASQ has released a refreshed website. I did not spend much time there, but I tried to find a link to the discussion boards and could not readily find it.

The web site seems to be designed to better market the organization, and less as a gathering place/source for members.
I typed "discussion" in the search window and was given a set of links that took me there right away.

I found the discussion boards right away after I logged in.
Check out the Quality Digest Magazine article.
ASQ Membership Decline Spurs Changes
"It used to be a one-size-fits-all approach, and we've overhauled that to reflect the needs of our members," Nelson-Rowe says. "ASQ is a nondenominational house of quality. We're not exclusive."

Edit Add by Marc: Please note that the link in this post will expire. Rather than have pages with permanent links as most sites do, Quality Digest uses a 'currentmag' link so the above link will soon go dead.

amanbhai,
What does a member need to use on the website? I gave up my membership without regret but am still interested. Is there an increased value?
Thanks,
Al...

Al, Hope you don't mind my jumping in here, but it looks to me like it's the same book with a different cover. Window dressing, if you know what I mean. I have retained membership with ASQ for another year, but only because the company I work for paid the fee.
