Please Help! Soldering specification - Seeking example of a soldering procedure

I've been tasked to write a procedure for soldering can anyone provide an example of a soldering procedure they have used?

We will be doing soldering to IPC standards.

Thanks,
Al

Al,

What type of soldering are you going to be doing (hand, wave etc.)?

We will be doing hand soldering only i.e. soldering wires to boards, some component soldering.

Thanks,

I have a procedure that we used for hand soldering to the NASA workmanship criteria. If you send me your email in a private message and I'll forward it to you. For J-Std-001 soldering we have no specific "procedure". We have a training plan that covers the J-Std and IPC requirements, certify the operators. I'll also send you a copy of the training plan.

The IPC and J-STD also have handbooks available in parallel with the specific standard (same number only HDBK). These are well detailed and explain each step. You can use this to help.
