MD Directive vs EMC Directive - Totally excluded (for both emissions and immunity)?

I wass surfing the web on some info about EMC testing for Medical Devices when I stumbled upon the following:

Does anybody have any knownledge on what is true about this and what it means regarding refering to the EMC directive and or standards in my technical production files??
Does this mean that the MDD covers all the EMC requirements for medical devices?
Any info on this subject is recived with a warm welcom

Yes, the MDD requires conformance to IEC 60601-1-2, Electromagnetic compatibility - Requirements and tests.
