Question TL 9000 if you want to get into the TELECOMMUNICATIONS Manufacturing?

Has anybody hear about TL 9000 ????
I attended a meeting with at a telecommunications company and they said that they are implementing TL 9000, is suppose to be the standard to follow if you want to get into the TELECOMUNICATIONS manufacturing industry.

Let me know your comments.

Art.

I have heard TL9000 referred to as TS9000. There is a list group at **** BROKEN LINK REMOVED *** I haven't had much success with this discussion group. There are two related to TS9000
However, TL 9000 is also know as QuEST (Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications. The Leadership forum has put together the TL 9000 Handbook. It is a committee draft 1.7 dated 7/28/98. The forum phone number is 925-823-0200. I hope this helps.
