For a while, I've had a list of what I thought were good questions to use when interviewing a registrar. Recently I took this list and expanded it into a full length article entitled, "What's the Best Way to Select a Registrar?" Just from the title, you get the idea that it's a very subjective piece. I would interested in hearing your own ideas of how to evaluate and select a registrar. My article only nudges the tip of the iceburg.
Talk to you soon,
Craig

What an excellent article!! I am sure it will be a big help to those of us who will be looking for an auditor. It also might serve as a guide to the registrars, as well. Thanks!
As usual, a very good article from Craig. I see that he spoke to my boss in consultation for this piece. I like it.
The one thing I don't agree much is the old age analogy with a marriage. A Registrar is a business partner (or should be). Switching registrars is not as painful as getting a divorce. There is no "till a Major does us apart"...
So, while I wholeheartdely agree that it should be a well thought out decision, and Craig has excellent insight to the selection/screening process, the marriage analogy is excessive, imo.
