I am Vinayak B., final year Postgraduate student in Construction Technology studying at BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore,INDIA.

I am working in a related arena for my dissertation, the topic being "Overall Equipment Effectiveness".

It would be grateful if you can provide me with much more information and references on the above mentioned topic.

vinayak the OEE is a wast subject ,i can just give a simple equation to get the OEE
machine utilisation X human power utilisation X rejection rate =OEE
for the each shift

it is the simple definition for the OEE
you can put more information to it to get good result

Actual Position Quality Engineer In a Musical Company in Ensenada, Mexico.
And consultant on GD T courses.
My experience is in stamping, machining, foundry and some plastic processes from the automotive Industry were I work around 25 years in Quality and Manufacturing.
I have been in different positions including Quality Manager a few times.
Mechanical Engineer and Statistics, background.
I like to work in my Audi 90, ride the bicycle with my son and wife and play bowl when I have a chance.
