Question ISO 14001 section 4.4.3.b Communication

Regarding 4.4.3.b: any ideas on what type of "relevant communications from external interested parties" we need to prepare for?

I've already thought about complaints and requests for our ISO 14001 certificates. What else could there be...? How are other companies handling this item?

Susan
We feel we have potential of receiving request for external communication from customers, consumers, neighbors, community groups, federal, state, local agencies, etc.

These requests are forwarded to the EHS Manager, logged in, and the EHS Manager determines appropriate response.

EHS Manager also checks to see if request relates to significant aspects or objectives.

Hope this helps!
