Training Matrix in Excel or maybe an Access database

OK, I tried a search, but none of the threads that popped up looked as if they provided a training matrix -- y'know, something in Excel or maybe an Access d-base.

I am specifically looking for a matrix that would allow me to show job class vs. process instructions, and drop in the names of the trained people. OR Show names on the Y axis and process instructions on the X axis and then fill in the boxes for training........any ideas or examples??
