Where can I get a copy of BMW requirements?
Any hints where can I get a copy of BMW requirements?, I'm preparing our Quality system for TS and we supply to BMW. BMW SQA is not giving me much help in this regard.
Appreciate it
Thanks,

Do you supply directly to BMW, or through another layer. If there is another layer, can they get you a copy. If you already supply directly to BMW, why won't they cooperate?

We are 2nd tier, but we have direct comunication with the OEM, we already have product specifications from the original contract with OEM, but I think we are missing the general specific requirements, I asked to my OEM SQA and he says that's all we need, but I think he doesn't know exaclty what we need. I read in other threads that BMW specific requrements do exist, so tha's why I'm asking wehre to get them. may be I'm wrong but I just want to be sure.

If you are a tier 2 to BMW, I was thinking perhaps the tier 1 had a copy they could share with you.
I had a link from my CB, but it no longer works. I assume you tried looking at their website?

Gee, it seems like BMW is emulating its American counterparts. How sad is it that we have a supplier who wants to understand and comply with the requirements but can't get the information he needs from the customer. I would, at this point, go over the SQA's head to someone higher in the food chain.

I found the link to BMW. This is a listing of various supplier sites. Just click on BMW & you'll go to the supplier portal.
