Question Canadian hospitals restrict the use of products that contain Lanolin?

Perhaps someone can help me. I will be working for a contract manufacturer who has products manufactured in China (such as shampoo, lotions, creams, body wash and so on...) that are used in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Institutions. An account recently told our Sales Executive that Canadian hospitals do not permit products that contain Lanolin. I have contacted Health Canada, with no reply yet -but was wondering if anyone had information as to this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,
SM
