Hi,
Have you considered working towards an ASQ CQE certification? By studying for the exam you will be exposed to a very wide range of quality topics.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer exam preparation starts with information from ASQ itself.
www.asq.org
An overview is found at http://www.asq.org/training-and-certification.html

Design of Experiments (DOE) is the beginning of statistical analysis of data. This is the vital planning stage where stratification, type of data, calculations, etc. are chosen to suit the situation.
