Corporate Quality Manual - Any advice on this challenge?

My company is going global through some acquisitions abroad. The corporate quality office intends to create a Corporate Quality Manual in order to establish some companywide quality requirements at a higher level than the plant specific quality manuals.

Any advice on this challenge?

My only comment is to make sure your over-all structure is well defined and that you follow the 'standard' document pyramid structure. Your corporate should clearly diffentiate responsibilities. For example, most big companies allow local plants to define their 'local' internal document control system and 'local' requirements and only put the most 'critical' requirements in their corporate manuals.
