Registrar Requalification in a 2 step format?
My registrar Standards Institue of Israel have received information on requalification in a 2 step format.
They have asked me to try and get more information on this. Does any one know anything.
Anything to keep the registrar happy!!!!
Thanks

Side 3 auditors need to be requalified.
This appears to be a complicated 2 stage procedure.
Does anyone have any more details, The info at AIAG is not clear.
Thanks

Don't know what to say, Howard. I did my lead auditor 'upgrade' last fall (my first lead auditor course was in spring 1994) so I did a 4 year 'upgrade', if you will) - but never have done a QS certification - only (all successful) implementations.
I read about the RAB and laugh. But I see QS as a money hole. It's above and beyond. But - It's a customer requirement, not an international spec.

I see dates. Where is the 'step' / 'stage' aspect you are writing about?

from what I understand you have first to do the QUALIFICATION EXAM and then the QS-9000 RECERTIFICATION. I have not had a reply form AIAG yet.
I am trying to help my registrars. Its the best way to keep on their good side as they know that I know no less than them!!
