ISO 9001:2000 Internal Audit Compliance Scoring System
I originally posted this ISO 9001 Internal Audit scoring file in the Customer Satisfaction threads. So I started this thread, which is more appropriately named. I have since revised this file and corrected many mistakes! I hope it is useful to someone else. I created it to help me determine my employer's compliance to ISO 9001:2000 since one of our objectives is to maintain 80% to 100% compliance.
Edit: I guess my intent here is to eventually "share" the compliance rating. Maybe we can benchmark our ratings?? Is this even necessary?

Thanks! I have really only begun to enter the audits that have taken place this year so far...and I am unsure my rating system is "good". Might be too generous!

I like what you have done and is certainyl something I may look at adopting for the company I work for as we have more sites becoming certified.
One question though. Why is full compliance given a score of 100 yet everything else is given a negative value. I am certainly not an expert in statistics but I would have thought this could skew the results. Wouldn't a score of 0 for full compliance be better?
Thanks to chergh for your informative Post and/or Attachment!

Thanks Crusader,
Seems like a good approach on seeing it right now.
Infact, I myself was thinking on how to measure the compliance of the QMS. With all the parameters defined and score points allocated, this seems to be a right approach.

Reason: making correction to say 'measure the compliance'

Please look into the formulas.
It is 100 minus the indicated " negative value ".
Good tool to make the gap analysis a measurable item.
Thanks a lot for sharing.

Crusader, this spreadsheet is wonderful. I myself have been doing audits for so long time, but I could never think that the audits could be quantified as this one.
Kudos
