Graphs from Minitab are Not Appearing in Words - EMBED Mtb.Graph Document?

hi there again,

i tried copying the report pad from minitab to microsoft words. but strangely the graphs are not shown and only a line of words are there - EMBED Mtb.Graph Document.

Have i done anything wrong? i just right click on the report pad -> copy to word processor.

help again ...

I have not had your problem copying Minitab charts into word, but I have had problems before. To solve the problem that I had, I created a text box in Word, then pasted the chart from Minitab using the "Paste Special" command and copying the chart as a "Picture" into the text box. This solved all my problems as far as inserting Minitab charts and graphs into another document.

Hi,

I use MiniTab all the time and have never had a problem pasting into Word. I just click on the graph window in MiniTab to select it, then just copy and paste right into Word. It takes several seconds to transfer (but it may be my internal server delay) but it always works for me. You are not using the free trial of MiniTab, but the real thing, right?

Hi,

I am using the original version of MINITAB and i have tried the two ways mentioned above but somehow i still couldnt manage to solve my problem. I tried copying and pasting it into Words, but once again only this was displayed on the screen - {EMBED MtbGraph.Document}

By right clicking {EMBED MtbGraph.Document} i could however edit/open the chart with minitab.

i just manages to copy the graph into words. i had to save the graph in another file type and inserting it as a picture from file.
