Question Confidence intervals - Provide a point estimator?

A silly question, but one I need some whelp with: Whenever you provide a point estimator should you also provide a condidence interval?

Yes, you should. How (terminology) you provide the CI is pretty much dependent upon your audience.

I'll second what Don says. It is worth the time to explain the significance of the confidence interval. Folks can get too excited about the point measurement and forget about the uncertainty!
