Please Help! Boxplots with Maximum and Minimum Value

Hello,

I want to create a boxplot picture by Minitab:
- With maximum and minimum value of a group of data to be automaticaly displayed on the range box
- Without mean and median value and line appeared on the range box.
How can do it?

Let Me Help You Re: Boxplots with Maximum and Minimum Value

Under graph, select boxplot. Choose one Y simple boxplot for example and in the data view session, choose whay type of the data to be display.

- But there is not "Max", "Min" option box in the DataView window.
- I don't need the mean line either, how can I delete it.

Not sure what you are asking for here...but it sounds like you just want a single bar that goes from the min value to the maximum value. Not a boxplot.

Let Me Help You Re: Boxplots with Maximum and Minimum Value

right click the boxplot and select the add-->data label-->individual data-->use label from column, then the data will be display including the max and min. You may remove the particular data display by just click on the data and delete.

To display the median or mean reference line to be displayed,
choose the label when tou are creating the box plot. Select the data label and choose the median in the lable check and use eight y value lable or label from the data collection.
