Can anyone point me to a MIL/specification or provide info on "Mean Time Between Operation and Mission Failure" what it is and how it's predicited? I was wondering how its done for military support equipment.

What are you asking for? What does Mtbomf mean (I haven't heard of this acronym)?
Please be more specific on what you are asking.

Thanks Jim. At first, I thought it was MTBF being explained by a professor suffering from turrets syndrome...

Is it Mean Time Between Operation and Mission Failure or ... Operational Mission Failures? It does make a difference.

Hi Al, the correct abbreviation is "Mean Time Between Operational Mission Failure". I have attached a Military document for reference.
