I'm starting some work on understanding Process Cost Models. Does anyone have any pointers for a beginner… which are the important models and when to find the best descriptions of those models.
I'm not clear about what you're looking for, but here are three topics that might be of interest:
- cost accounting (a subset of financial accounting)
- activity based costing (a process-focused approach to cost accounting)
- cost of quality
If you Google any of these terms you should be able to find enough to know whether or not any of the three is what you're looking for. The Cove is probably full of stuff on cost of quality.
