Default TE-Registration Audit

Hello all !
I've been reading the TE forum on this site since it opened and have even contributed once or twice.
I thought I would post this note to let people know that our company had a third party registration audit to TE-QS9000 last week. Unfortunately, we had a small number of improvement notes raised which we have committed to close within the next couple of months.
I believe from our registrar that once the notes have been closed, then we may be one of the first companies in Europe to acheive the TE supplement (QS9000).
As TE-QS9000 co-ordinator, I have found the whole experience very valuable. Some of our interpretations were correct and some need tuning. I have also been lucky in the respect that our assessors were very constructive in their observations and this will help no end in getting internal commitment to follow up actions.
Like Bryon Simmons, I am more that happy to share our experiences to improve the overall understanding of the supplement.
Sean.

Good going, Sean

I think that I mentioned this before....I think we can reasonably expect to see some variation in the interpretation of the standard from registrar to registrar.....just like we did/do with QS itself....( I wonder how long it will be before the inevitable IASG document shows up.....)

I hope that the "improvement notes" you mentioned dont take too long to close....

I am not sure about the number of TE registered firms in Europe, but I do know there are less than 20 companies in the states that are TE registered.

I would also imagine that this part of the forum will become more and more popular in the moths to come, as more and more companies are seeking this registration.

Let me know if you need anything, Sean
