Hehehe... Ford QOS - 3rd Party Auditing body able to assess the QOS Assessment?

With regards to the ford specific Requirements, I am keen to understand if the 3rd Party Auditing body are able to assess the QOS Assessment as detailed in the QSR, pg69?

My other question related to the following clause:

Supplers to Ford are not required to persue third party registration at this time. Ford Australia unique suppliers shall be third party registered to QS-9000?

What does this mean?????

Kind regards

I can't comment on the QOS - I have not worked with any company registering to QS9000 where QS9000 requirements did not fulfill the QOS requirements.

You ask: "Supplers to Ford are not required to persue third party registration at this time. What does this mean?????" Ford (except in Australia) never required registration, they required compliance to QS9000 (now 16949 is an alturnative).
