Thank You! Presentation on the concepts of reliability testing and calculations needed

Hi Experts,

Does anyone have a simple presentation on the concepts of reliability testing and calculations such as MTTF/MTBF and what does R(t)=e-lamba(t) mean please? I am studying on a general quality course and i think I just about get it, but a good overview would really help.

Whilst I have many years quality management experience in the pharmaceutical area, this topic and stats in general is a it weak...

Cheers.

Hi all, I'm a new student in Quality Management & Engineering(QME) course. I've just learned the basic concepts of Reliability.
Mathematically, R=e^-failurate*t or R=e^-t/mean life.
But I am a bit confusing how to calculate the failure rate in detail?
Thx
