kevin....hi-ya
i am not in favor of scoring, as it is too auditor dependant...even more than auditing itself......the two together, to me, takes away from the report.
That said.....my guess is the score gives you a visual/concrete picture and a means to measure improvement...whether real or implied. Epecially applies to a GAP assessment...(I do use it there, for my own benefit to see what i/they have done and I still need to do...) But each scorer and each reader will have a different view of the picture. just go to dinner with 5 different people, and independantly score the meal and the service and see what you get????????
