Question International Symbols in Metrology and Calibration

i am currently in the middle of dealing with updating my company to ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and CE Marking for MDD. i work for a medical manufacturing company that makes measuring instruments with a device displaying function; it is not digital in nature, and therefore has no power source. recently i posted a thread pertaining to universal symbols for packaging and labeling, and was advised to check into the GUM and VIM. thank you to all of you for your help, but i have had a few more questions arise due to this newfound information:
1. i was wondering if anyone knows of a universal symbol system relating to the following terms: "calibration", "dead band", "drift", "reference standard", "working standard", etc.
2. my specific inquiry relates to displaying the exact information "+ - 3" on my packaging and IFUs. what is the universal symbol, if any, for this translation; or do i have to have the words "plus minus three" translated into the EU languages? the closest terms i have found thus far have been "span of a nominal interval" (e.g. -10V to +10V, the span is 20V), "dead band of a measuring function", "drift of a measuring system", "reference measurement standard", "working measurement standard", etc.
thanks very much, in advance, for any information on the subject, as it will be greatly appreciated.
