Question Auditor Procedure

Hello everyone,
Recently I conducted a Lead Auditor Training. Its contents were based on ISO10011 Specifications. I'also discussed case studies for each element of the ISO9001. Now my concern is: 1)Am i gonna have to generate a procedure on how to qualify a lead auditor? Please advice. Will this procedure can serve as a stand-alone living document for qualification of a lead auditor?
Thanks a lot,
Raffy

Thumbs up

Dan,

Right on the mark, don't burden down the procedure, use your level III's and evidence as much as possible.

If I understand you correctly...

Save the notes and handouts you used for training as evidence of the subject matter. This can also be used if you have to conduct the training again. I wouldn't put it all in a "procedure"...keep it as training materials.

In your internal audit procedure, identify the class as the training requirement for your auditors.

Make sure there is evidence that your auditors took the class in their training records.

Does this help?

Hi Marc, Al,
Thanks for the input. I have the training materials and handouts kept.
Thanks again,
