Let Me Help You FEMA Pro 6 software - looking for other users to share experience

At my company we use Dyadem's FEMA Pro 6 software. We are interested in contacting other manufacturing companies that use this software. My interest is in sharing lesson's learned, learning different approachs to similar issues and are there any user groups out there? Main interest is automotive, but aerospace, or any manufacturing plant is useful.

Hello Chuck,

For starters: from Dyadem's website.

I have no connection with this organization.

Welcome to the Cove Chuck.

I don't use the software but I would suggest if you don't find users with this post, you might try writing to Dyadem and propose it as a user group. They may be able to put you in touch with other users and use the group for their promotional purposes. You never know till you ask.

Thumbs down Re: FEMA Pro 6 software - looking for other users to share experience

We use FMEAPro 7 here, and my own PERSONAL opinion is that it is far too cumbersome for general use. The software is NOT intuitive, does not lend itself well to creating the Control Plan and Inspection Records, and is generally not user friendly.

Having said all that, the reason I say all these things is that there has been no proper training provided to me for use of the software; I am fairly confident that if I was shown how to use it correctly, I would find it much more compatible with my needs.

Lesson Learned: Invest the money in training up front.....and continue to train your new people.

Peronal preference is still for an Excel spreadsheet. Properly used, it is easy to track changes and revisions, is VERY compatible with Control Plans and Inspection Records, and is much simpler to use overall.

Let Me Help You Re: FEMA Pro 6 software - looking for other users to share experience

I do the PFMEA training for our sites, but our issue is Dyadem says they support automotive companies but will not give specific site/ contacts. So I am using the forum to see if I can find out who else is using the software.

Nothing negative about Dyadem, just so share some ideas on how other folks do things versus how we do things.

We currently use Pro 6 and is anyone out there using Pro 7?
