Clown Interna Audit

Opinions Requested:
We where going to be Audited by our Registar and we were 6 scheduled internal audits behind and the CEO told me to just fill in the information because not enough time to complete. In other words Falsify the Information. I no longer work there and feel like notifying the Registrar what went on.

I hope I'm never in that boat - glad you decided to get out. In our system it requires so much documentation of the effort & communication that it would be very difficult to 'fake'.

As far as wether to make the call, I'd say review why you want to do it. If you choose to because it is in the 'ethical' best interest of the company (and the registrar will be able to verify they faked it - remember they can't just take your word for it and aren't about to alienate a client on what may be a grudge call) then do it. If you are doing it to get back at the company so you can gloat and say 'I blew the whistle on you!' then let it pass and move on with your life.

goose has less than 100 Karma points so far.
E Wall is correct. The registrar will not just take your word for this.

I would forget about it; move on with your new job and be thankful you left.

Your old employer may or may not ever get caught but I personally wouldn't worry about it.

Thumbs up

Life is too short and stressful to worry about such things. If it's not something you control, don't loose sleep over it.

The field we all choose to be in is stressful at all levels and if things are going in a direction that could put you at risk, it's time to move on.

I used to work for a company that wanted me to blindly sign PPAP warrants without reviewing the associated data. I did not considering a PPAP warrant is a legal document.

Most of what we have in this induatry is our knowledge and integrity.
