Please Help! Electronic Training Records which show Evidence that People have been Trained

Hi all

We are looking at going electronic with our documentation so I would appreciate suggestions as to how you can show evidence that people have been trained on our various documents and procedures?
At the moment we use a paper system which includes a sign off page which all trainees sign upon completion of trainig...

All suggestions gratefully appreciated!

take care..

Mike

What business are you in? Is it FDA-regulated?

A record of training doesnt have to be signed off by the trainee, but going from paper systems to paperless generally means losing some old fashioned signatures on things. A couple of ways to get over this if you still need to record that personal traceability is either via an e-mail system, or similar database type application that requires sign on and password to access.

If you're using Lotus Notes then you can easily create a database with the possibility of electronic signatures. Otherwise, you can use Outlook for email verification provided that all employees have an email account. For that matter you could make the forms in Adobe and have them signed on an intranet server....

When you are not regulated then it is entirely up to you.
