Which provider in India should I take the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course From?

I second what Stijloor says.
There's little point in waiting, the revisions are very, very minor. In some cases, for example, they are clarifying points that good auditors & certifiers (including Lloyds) have already been doing and advocating.
I'm sure you'll be kept up to date with them.

Hello charan,
I am familiar with the organizations you've mentioned. However, I do not know how "good" they are with conducting Lead Assessor courses. There are many Cove participants from India here. Maybe they can help out. In addition, you can ask these course providers for references. Also, find out who the instructors are. Call the references to find out how satisfied they were with the training.
Hope this helps.
Stijloor.

A correction, IRCA is not a course provider, they are the Internationl Register of Certificated Auditors... the course you choose would be either certified by IRCA or RAB...
On the IRCA site, you can check out accredited IRCA courses in India : http://www.irca.org/auditortrain/aud...79&course=2245
RABQSA site did not show any course providers in India http://www.rabqsa.com/rab/cpDirector...showSearchForm

Most unethical to go back to Lloyds for the training of auditors...should choose a more independent and competent trainers.

I see no problem in taking "open" courses at your own registrar. These courses (lead auditor) have the same content in order to be called accredited courses.

Spot on Ted, there is no problem in attending a course run by your CB/Registrar, especially a public course. In fact there is good reason to do so as you can then get more familiar with their methods of auditing/reporting - assuming they 'practice what they preach' that is
The only time I would be concerned is when the course tutor became your auditor.
