Problem with display on screen - text does not wrap around
Hi Marc, I am now having problems with the display on screen. The text does not wrap around - meaning a super wide screen is needed. What happens is when you go to the page you want, it's momentarily alright and then after that, it will extend sidewards such that my screen is not wide enough to display the page. When I do to search, the drop down menu box is about 6 inches wide compared to the normal of about 3 inches.
I am using a Compaq notebook with 15.4 in. screen. Or do I need to do any setting on my side?

It was happening on the thread pages when I logged on about 10 minutes ago, but it seems to have stopped now. The viewing area was about 20% wider than the screen in both fullscreen and minimized mode. Now, mine seems normal.

No. What ever it is has to do with a weird post. I checked it for weird characters with BBEdit because of the thread that was started where I put in a 'problem noted' post. I've looked at it in BBEdit and didn't see anything.
However, it could be a cache issue.
I've checked here and the only place I can could see it is in this thread:
http://Elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=24951
Everything is back to normal here including the width of the original thread.
Reports from others appreciated.

Re: Problem with display on screen - text does not wrap around
That thread starter was weird, but it may have been what I'm doing in the background. I'm doing a comprehensive rebuild of all of the forum database tables while keeping the forum online. I rebuilt the 'styles' and that may have caused the problem.
